THE FINAL STAGE OF HEALING

Highbrow Clinic is pleased to offer survivors of Self Harm Behaviour Free Services to assist in their final stage of healing.

Mental health is important, and is something we should be able to talk about if we desire.

'The Final Stage of healing' is a project that the owner of Highbrow Clinic started the moment she got her camouflage certificates, and is currently a self funded pro-bono program that works with clients who have been free from self harm behaviour for a minimum of one year. The program uses silicone massage, Microneedling, and Scar Camouflage Tattooing in order to target self harm scars and bring them to a place where they are concealed as much as possible. This journey isn't an easy one, it often takes up to one year of working with a single client, and can sometimes be very difficult for the client to work through, as the scars are left inflamed and exasperated for sometimes weeks after a treatment. It is a journey, but one that is so worth it for these amazing people who have worked so hard to get to a place in their lives where they are doing well. At Highbrow, we are honoured to offer this program and plan on initiating a charity in the coming months so that we can offer this incredible program to even more clients, as there is currently an extensive wait list.
