Correction & Cover-up

Service Description

This is an appointment for a correction & cover-up of old permanent makeup from other studios. Please note, we cannot microblade over old permanent makeup, the technique often used is called 'powder brows' and gives the appearance of 'filled in' brows, which is almost always needed in order to cover the old work. At Highbrow Clinic, we pride ourselves on providing the best possible service to our clients, and the highest quality brows. When working over other artists work, we often need to take significantly more time accounting for previous errors in shape, colour selection, and brow style. Then, a colour correction needs to be preformed. At that time, we begin creating the brow that we would have provided on virgin skin. It is for this reason that you see an increase in cost when dealing with cover-ups. In order for Highbrow Clinic to work with brows done by a previous studio, please contact the clinic directly with CLEAR photos of your brows, showing from a straight on angle, in good lighting (this is typically more achievable if you have someone else take the pictures, rather than selfies). We need to see the existing shape, symmetry, and colour, to determine if it will be possible to proceed. If the brows are able to be worked over, instead of removal, we will approve for a correction and cover-up, at which time you can proceed with booking this appointment. Please do not book this appointment without prior approval. This procedure is a two part process and this appointment is for the initial service. A non-refundable booking fee is required of $100.00+HST at time of booking, which will be applied to the cost of the service at appointment time, unless our cancellation policy is not met. A touch-up appointment is required at 6-8 weeks for an additional cost, see service list for more details. *Please note that due to external factors such as medications, skin type, not following aftercare, etc., on very rare occasions, a client may need an additional touch-up appointment*
